YEMEN. Emir of AQAP frees 73 soldiers. They repented and promised not to fight against Islam

Ansar Forum reported referring to the Islamic News Agency al-Madad that Sana'a puppet regime warplanes shelled in the morning of April 28 the town of Waqar (former Jaar) in the Wilayah of Abyan in an attempt to fail the mediation efforts between the civil delegations and command of AQAP to release the captive soldiers.

The reporter of Madad agency in Waqar clarified that the warplanes shelled the 7 October factory area in the outskirts of the city without inflicting any material or human losses, stating that it comes in a time when the delegations of elders, Ulema, human rights organizations and the relatives of the captives and youth of the revolution began to arrive to the city to participate in the mediation with AQAP command to release the soldiers.

The human rights organizations demanded the Yemeni regime and the American government not to shell Waqar on Friday and Saturday to preserve the lives of the delegations that participate in the mediation efforts, but the puppets are not complied with the demand.
 
During the meeting, Emir of AQAP Abu Bassir Nasir Al-Wuhayshi ordered release of captured soldiers, who all the time of arrest were in Waqar.
 

A source of al-Madad clarified that the decision of releasing the 73 prisoners came after mediations of elders of the tribes and a group of Ulema headed by sheikh Awad Ba'Najar.
 

As pointed out by the Islamic news agency, members of the human rights organizations, relatives of Yemeni soldiers and youth of the Yemeni revolution delegations, who came to Waqar, asked the AQAP to release the captive soldiers.

Source of al-Madad added that the Mujahideen called a Majlis Al-Shura, or Consultative Council, on which was decided the release of soldiers. The ceremony took place on Sunday the release at 8 am under the title "Go your way, for you are free". A statement on this was published only on Monday.
 

Reporters stressed that the release was not the result of pressure on the AQAP and or for a ransom. At the ceremony, all captive soldiers brought Taub (repentance) and vowed to no longer fight against the Mujahideen.
